Brain Injury Association of Durham Region (BIAD) is a registered, not-for-profit charitable organization, whose members are people who have experienced brain injuries and their caregivers. We serve the Durham Region by providing non-medical resources and supports.

Application For Service

BIAD offers non-medical Brain Injury community support services. An application can be made by the individual (Self-referral) or Professionals (primary health care/community partners) by completing an Application for Services form. BIAD follows the PHIPA guidelines and accepts applications via fax, mail, or in-person. To maintain confidentiality, please refrain from sending the application form via email. If you require a paper copy of the form please contact us at intake@ceabi.ca or call us at 905-723-2732

Monday, Jun 16, 1:30 pm: Meet The Artist – Unmasking Brain Injury 

You’re invited to a moving and meaningful afternoon, where art becomes a voice for those living with brain injury.

Location: Station Gallery – Jill Dyall Community Gallery Corridor 1450 Henry St., Whitby

This exhibit features powerful masks created by our clients—each one a deeply personal expression of their journey through brain injury. Through art, they share their stories of struggle, resilience, and hope. Enjoy light snacks and refreshments as you take in these impactful works and connect with the community. Free Admission – All Are Welcome.

Thursday, June 26th: BIAD’s Annual General Meeting & Day of Activities

A special day full of connection, creativity, and community leading up to our Annual General Meeting! Hear about BIAD’s progress, milestones, and what’s ahead. We can’t wait to share this special day with you. Please note: Day program will be closed in the morning.
